This is an important procedure that ensures the engine operates properly and maintains its efficiency. While it may seem complicated, replacing spark plugs is actually a fairly simple task that you can do yourself. Before starting the replacement process, make sure the engine is cool and turn off the ignition. Next, open the hood and locate the spark plugs, which are located on the top of the engine. Their number may vary depending on the type of engine, but on average there will be 4 or 6. Using a special wrench or wrench, loosen and remove the wires that are connected to the spark plugs. Then, using a spark plug wrench, turn the spark plugs counterclockwise to remove them from the holes. Make sure the new spark plugs are the same type and size as the old ones. Before installing new spark plugs, check for damage or cracks. Then, using a spark plug wrench, carefully insert them into the holes and turn clockwise to secure.
